I received my Masters of Occupational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University in 2013 with my Undergraduate Degree in Health and Human Services in 2009. My educational focus was on Mental Health services, autism spectrum disorder(ASD), and reconditioning.
I have experience with children living with autism working on behavioral modifications; community integration; social skills; and daily living skills, and children living with trauma, specifically young girls living with physical and emotional trauma to build confidence; social skills; and skills to be successful in their favored pursuits. My experience extends to the other end of the spectrum to adults and older adults with physical and neurological disabilities, with extended experience specifically addressing spinal and brain injuries/conditions including but not limited to, CVA(Stroke), Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), to adults living with mental illness working to build community integration skills, social skills, job readiness skills, pre-vocational skills and educational pursuits. My passion to work with others is represented in my dedication to my clients, my availability, my knowledge base, my integrity and honesty and my passion for living and aging with a strong quality of life and confidence to pursue what it meaningful to each individual.
My OT services are offered in Yuba Sutter county. Please contact me for more information. Thank you.
